Active Membership
Who may join as an Active Member
Review the eligibility requirements below before completing membership registration and payment.
- Be a United States citizen or have a currently pending application for citizenship.
- Be a registered voter.
- Maintain a primary residence in Van Zandt County or an adjacent county.
- Be between 18 and 40 years old, inclusive.
- Pay annual NETYR dues.
Annual dues
$30 per year
Annual NETYR dues are currently $30. Registration and payment are completed through NETYR's public Cheddar Up collection.
Registration and payment take place through NETYR's approved public Cheddar Up collection, not on this website. Paying dues is one step in the membership process; Active Membership rights still require meeting the eligibility requirements above.

Membership categories
NETYR recognizes multiple ways to participate while reserving voting rights for Active Members.
Active Member
Voting membership for eligible people ages 18 through 40 who meet the citizenship, voter-registration, geography, and dues requirements.
Associate Member
Participation for people who do not qualify for Active Membership. Associate Members do not vote or hold office.
Community Supporter
A non-voting way to support NETYR and participate in chapter activities.
Honorary Member
A non-voting recognition for distinguished support of NETYR and its mission.
