CANTON, Texas — The North East Texas Young Republicans Executive Board has approved the appointment of Matt Proper to serve as the organization’s Treasurer.
Proper currently serves as a City Council Member for Gun Barrel City and brings valuable public service experience, leadership, and a commitment to responsible stewardship to the organization. As Treasurer, he will oversee the financial affairs of the club and help support the continued growth and success of its mission.
“Matt has already demonstrated a strong commitment to serving his community, and we are excited to welcome him to the Executive Board,” said NETYR President Gavin Whitaker. “His experience, integrity, and dedication to conservative leadership make him an outstanding addition to our team. We are confident he will play an important role as we continue building the premier Young Republican organization in East Texas.”
